Melissa came to us through her social worker. She was homeless and needed clothes for her five-year-old son and three-month-old daughter. AIN was able to provide pampers and clothing for the baby, and warm clothing for the little boy. It was clear that Melissa needed some clean clothing herself and we were able to provide her with some clothes and toiletries, as well as a few books for the children. On her way out she saw an angel we were readying for a holiday market. She picked it up and held it close to her heart, saying, “I feel like you are my angels.” We gave her that little angel as well. Being able to provide for the immediate needs of patients and their families, not just clothing or food, but the warmth of a visit or an unexpected gift, is what makes Angel Interfaith Network special. Thanks to all of you who make this work possible.
